Best Electrician Websites: 12 Real Examples
Electrician websites that earn the call, chosen from 55 electrical contractor sites we scored. For each one you get the screenshot, the strong points and something to borrow.
Checked October 7, 2026. These businesses are not affiliated with GotLocal unless marked.
How These Sites Were Picked
Finding candidates took two steps. We pulled 460 electricians with a website from OpenStreetMap, across the United States and Canada, and fetched each home page once. After a first screen and with franchises removed, 47 were left. Eight more came from business listings we already had.
That gave 55 electrical contractors. None is a franchise. We dropped one generator installer because it is not a general electrician, and two sites refused to load, so 52 were scored.
Scoring used a phone sized browser, the sitemap and a mobile Lighthouse run. We checked for a number you can tap, a quote path, reviews, real photos, service pages, city pages, schema and https. Two marks were made by eye from screenshots.
All of this was run on October 7, 2026, and websites do not stand still. We wrote about what each site shows. We made no judgment of the electricians themselves.

What the Best Electrician Websites Have in Common
A form on the home page
Electrical work is often planned, not urgent. 39 of the 52 sites put a request form right on the home page. A panel upgrade or an EV charger starts with a quote, and the form makes asking easy.
Services are split out
Panels, generators, lighting and EV chargers are searched for by name. 29 of the 52 sites have ten or more service pages. Eight have none, so one page has to stand in for everything they do.
City pages are rare, so they stand out
This is where electricians are furthest behind the other trades we scored. 22 of the 52 sites have no city or service area page at all. Only 17 have ten or more, and nine of the twelve sites on this list are among them.
The best ones show their own work
Stock skylines and close ups of panels are everywhere in this trade. The sites that feel real show the van, the crew or a finished job instead. 35 of the 52 home pages also show reviews.
Speed separates the field
Half of the 50 electrician sites we could measure scored under 50 on mobile Lighthouse. Only three scored 80 or better. A quick site is rare in this trade, so it gets noticed.
