Best Plumbing Websites: 12 Real Examples

Real plumbing company websites that get the basics right, picked from 48 sites we checked ourselves. Each one has a screenshot, what it does well, and one idea you can copy.

Checked October 7, 2026. These businesses are not affiliated with GotLocal unless marked.

How These Sites Were Picked

We started with 48 plumbing companies in the United States. All of them are independent local businesses. No franchise and no national brand is on the list.

We loaded every home page as a phone, the way most customers see it. We looked for a tap to call button on the first screen, real photos, reviews, a clear way to book and schema markup. We counted service pages and city pages from each site's own sitemap.

Every site also got a mobile Lighthouse speed test. One 100 point rubric was used for all of them. Five sites would not load for our checker, so 43 were scored.

The twelve highest scores made the list. One of them is a site GotLocal built. It is marked, and it sits where its score put it.

The checks ran on October 7, 2026. Sites change, so a number here may be different when you look. We describe the websites only. We say nothing about the companies behind them.

What the Best Plumbing Websites Have in Common

The phone number is a button

A plumbing customer often has water on the floor. 36 of the 43 sites we scored put a tap to call button on the first phone screen. Four had no tap to call link anywhere on the home page.

Each job has its own page

One services page cannot answer a search for water heater repair. 25 of the 43 sites have ten or more service pages. The strongest give drains, water heaters, sewer lines and leaks a page each.

Each town has its own page

Plumbers work across many towns, and people search by town. 23 of the 43 sites have ten or more city or service area pages. 14 have none, which leaves those towns to someone else.

Proof comes early

31 of the 43 home pages show reviews. The better ones put a review count beside the headline, where a visitor sees it before scrolling. A photo of the real crew and the real trucks does the same job.

Speed is the weak spot

Half of the plumbing sites scored below 69 out of 100 on mobile Lighthouse, and 12 scored under 50. Only five reached 90. A fast page is still rare in this trade, so it is an easy way to stand out.

Questions About Plumbing Websites

What should a plumbing website have on the home page?
Say what you do and where in one line. Add a tap to call button, a way to book and your reviews. Every site in this list has a tap to call button on the first phone screen.
How many pages does a plumbing website need?
More than most plumbers think. The sites that scored best have a page for each service and a page for each town they cover. Half of the 43 sites we scored have 18 or more service pages.
Does a plumbing website need to be fast?
Yes, and most are not. Half of the 42 sites we could measure scored under 69 for mobile speed. Only three showed their main content within 2.5 seconds, which is the mark Google calls good.
Should a plumber use stock photos?
Use your own photos if you can. A lettered van in a customer's driveway shows a visitor you are real and local. A stock photo of a smiling family says nothing about you.
What is schema markup, and does a plumber need it?
Schema is a short block of code that tells search engines what your business is, where it is and when it is open. 30 of the 43 sites we scored use a LocalBusiness type on the home page. Visitors never see it, and it is cheap to add.
